500 turn up for VTU placement event

BANGALORE:
Over 500 students participated in the placement event organised on Wednesday by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Training and Placement Centre for engineering and MCA students of Belgaum region affiliated colleges, who had passed in 2006.
The placement was for Carritor India Ltd.
The event featured Aptitude test, technical round and a final HR round.
Plans
The Visvesvaraya Technological University's future plans include similar placement of undergraduate and postgraduate students on a large scale.
More companies are likely to make use of the placement process.
