As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, students of Sindhi High School, Kumara Krupa Road, participated in a "Lane discipline awareness programme" from July 31 to August 8.

About 150 students of the school belonging to classes seven to ten took up positions at 14 junctions, regulated traffic and guided road users to observe lane discipline for smooth movement of vehicles.

Students carried banners with slogans related to lane discipline. The school identified 14 junctions where traffic flow is heavy during peak hours.

These included the Windsor Manor junction, High Grounds, Anil Kumble Circle and Queen's Circle.

The Bangalore Traffic Police assisted the students in the campaign.
