BSNL employees protest

GULBARGA: Members of the United Forum of BSNL Unions on Thursday held a protest demonstration in front of the office of the general manager of the BSNL here demanding among other things implementation of decisions taken during the national council meeting and recommendations of various committees. In a memorandum submitted to M.B. Ravichandran, general manger of the BSNL, the forum said BSNL should implement the decision taken at the national council meeting , restoration of powers of CGMs of BSNL to create new posts and remove discrimination between industrial and non-industrial workers among other things.
