Suguna poultry's expansion plans
COIMBATORE:
Suguna Poultry Farms plans to invest Rs. 950 crore (capex and working capital) by 2010 to go in for own hatcheries, feed mills and breeder farms. The company has invested Rs. 250 crore in the last five years towards expansion. Its Managing Director, B. Soundararajan, told The Hindu that the company planned to go in for an initial public offering in 2007-08. Meanwhile, it was in discussions with IFC for $30 million as debt and equity. The company, which was present in ten States, would enter Haryana next month, he added.
