BANGALORE: Dissidence in the Janata Dal (Secular) Legislature Party appears to have boiled over following Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy's patient hearing to the grievances of party legislators at a meeting here on Thursday. Party sources told The Hindu that the meeting was called to dispel rumours that there was resentment among some legislators over the leadership. None of the 45 legislators who had attended the meeting voiced their anger against the leadership, it is stated. The legislators focused on the need for paying attention to sustain the coalition Government. All legislators, barring Santosh Lad and Zameer Ahmed, who had sought permission to be away from Bangalore, were present.
