Temporary?

After a month-long war, a ceasefire resolution was passed by the UNSC calling for cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hizbollah. Now Israel will demand the return of its kidnapped soldiers and Hizbollah will demand that Israel release its prisoners. The situation will be back to square one and the truce will collapse. The ceasefire is only temporary.

Israel's failed mission in Lebanon benefited the Hizbollah. It stood exposed, while the world watched civilians being killed and homes being blown up. Supporters of Israel are fast losing their credibility.
