BANGALORE: Automotive components maker Mann+Hummel on Thursday opened its 100 per cent subsidiary company, Mann and Hummel Filter Private Limited, at Tumkur in Karnataka. The new company will sell Mann-Filter products to the automotive and industrial aftermarket, as well as Indian original equipment manufacturers. In July, the production of filter elements for the automotive and industrial aftermarket started at a joint venture company set up with the Bosch Group in 2005. The plant would house up to 250 employees in the coming months, a company statement said here.
