Saravanan, Somasundar hit centuries

Bangalore: Vasanth Saravanan's unbeaten 167 (187b, 21x4, 2x6) and Sujith Somasundar's 112 (195b, 15x4, 1x6) helped Sanmar Chemplast post 466 for five in 100 overs against Air-India in the KSCA all-India invitation cricket tournament at the NRA Ground here on Thursday.

In another match, KSCA Colts, powered by K.B. Pawan's 132 and Arun Bafna's unbeaten 100, declared at 372 for five in 96.1 overs against Tripura.

Swapnil shines

Meanwhile in Mysore, an unbeaten knock of 164 (271b, 15x4) by Goa Ranji player and opener Swapnil Asnodikar and his unfinished 146-run sixth-wicket partnership with southpaw Iqbal Abdullah (60 not out, 103b, 4x4) helped Dr. D.Y. Patil Sports Academy end the first day's play on 306 for five in 87 overs against Assam CA.
