Essay-writing contest

HYDERABAD:
The Telangana Utsav Committee (TUC) is organising an essay-writing competition for people of Telangana districts with different themes in Telugu, Urdu and English languages.
People, including college and university students, can participate in the competition. The theme for school children in the age group of 12 to 15 years is `Our festivals.' The themes for college and university students are `Roots of Telangana movement' and `Irrigation issues-Telangana' respectively.
The contest is held to coincide with Telangana Liberation Day which falls on September 17.
Essays should be sent to district coordinators concerned before August 25.
Those pertaining to Hyderabad should be sent to Convenor, TUC, S. Sujatha, Door No. 12-13-858, Kalyan Apartments, Hanuman Nagar, Tarnaka, Secunderabad-17.
