Police seek custody of suspected SIMI activists
Kochi:
The police have moved court seeking the custody of the five suspected activists of the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on Wednesday.
"An application has been moved before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Paravur, and we are hopeful of getting their custody for questioning within a day or two," police sources said.
They are Shaduli, Abdul Rafeeq, Shamaz, Ansar and Nizamuddeen. PTI
