Port employees told to work sincerely

MANGALORE: Officers, staff and employees of New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) should work for the progress of the nation and the port, NMPT chairman P. Tamilvanan has said.

Delivering the Independence Day address at a function organised at Panambur near here on Tuesday, Mr. Tamilvanan impressed upon the present generation to be sincere, selfless, dedicated and committed for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Earlier, he accepted a guard of honour at a parade by various marching contingents from the Central Industrial Security Force, the Port Fire Service, National Cadet Corp units and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya and NMPT School.
