"Provide transport to islanders"

Kochi: The District Administration should hasten the means of providing public transport connectivity for the Goshree islanders by strengthening the road infrastructure, according to a statement issued by C.K. Manisankar, Deputy Mayor.

Completion of the Goshree-Pottakuzhi-Mamamgalam Anjumana Road and Goshree- Cheranelloor Road would have saved the crisis of extreme load of traffic into the city. This should be taken up on a war-footing. The existing bus routes should be rationalised to provide an entry for buses into the city.
