KSCA XI posts win

Bangalore: Host KSCA XI defeated Hyderabad CA by 47 runs in a in a KSCA all-India invitation cricket tournament match that concluded at the RSI Ground here on Friday. Chasing KSCA's 342, Hyderabad was well on course as opener T. Suman scored 141 (182b, 21x4, 1x6) but a late collapse undid his efforts and eventually the visitor was bowled out for 295 though D. Vinay (41) and Anoop Pai (58) offered some resistance.

In other matches, Sanmar Chemplast, Indian Airlines, KSCA Colts, Orissa CA and KSCA President's XI scored facile victories.

At Bangalore: Karnataka 342 for nine decl. in 94.5 overs bt Hyderabad CA 295 in 92.2 overs (T. Suman 141, Anoop Pai 58, D. Vinay 41).
