Company, college sign MoU

MYSORE: Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) in Mysore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore, to foster research in the area of Embedded Systems. According to the MoU, Philips will be setting up a sophisticated laboratory for Embedded Systems at SJCE at a cost of Rs. 12 lakh and will assist the college in offering an M.Tech course in Electrical Sciences. The Embedded Systems laboratory will help undergraduate and postgraduate students and aid research activities.

According to the MoU, Philips will offer up to ten scholarships to M.Tech students of SJCE. It will absorb deserving students in its facility at Bangalore .
