NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies Ltd. has reported a 44 per cent rise in the fourth quarter consolidated net profit at Rs. 233 crore on a year-on-year basis, while revenues grew 35 per cent at Rs. 1,253.80 crore. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per share (200 per cent per share with face value of Rs. 2) for the year ended June 30, 2006, taking the full-year dividend to 800 per cent. The net profit for the full year moved up by 27 per cent to Rs. 773.90 crore while revenue grew 30.5 per cent to Rs. 4,388 crore. The company has posted a net profit of Rs. 136.45 crore (standalone basis) for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, against Rs. 85.22 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2005. For the full year, the net profit was Rs. 638.38 crore against Rs. 329.27 crore and total income Rs. 3116.26 crore against Rs. 1,530.03 crore previously. Announcing the results here on Saturday, Shiv Nadar, Chairman and CEO, HCL Technologies, said the company's `transformational strategy' set in motion over the last 12 months had led to a significant momentum in its business.
