TIRUMALA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy on Saturday reiterated that the final decision regarding separate statehood for the Telangana region was in the hands of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi. He was reacting to a question on the latest stance being adopted by Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) top leaders K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Narendra that they would quit the Union Cabinet if their plea was not conceded. Dr. Reddy said that the question should be posed to the persons who had given the statement. Talking to mediapersons after darshan of the Lord, Dr. Reddy said that demarcation of deadlines did not serve any purpose. The UPA chairperson and the sub-committee headed by Pranab Mukherjee had been armed with the required factual reports regarding the issue, he said.
