THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A seminar on `Emerging Trends in Corporate Finance and International Business' was organised by the ICFAI University in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. The seminar, according to a press note issued by the university, was intended to expose students to the dynamics of finance and international business and career opportunities in these sectors. In his talk on corporate finance, general manager (P&D) of the State Bank of Travancore R.G. Gadgari spoke on the three stages in the development of financial markets. Deputy general manager of Iridium, Technopark, Gini Gregory listed the latest developments in international business management and on career opportunities. He spoke about the social impact of globalisation and the motives of international business.
