St. Philomena's posts win

Mysore: Helped by a goal each from Asim, Issac and Mohammed, defending champion St. Philomena's College registered a 3-0 victory over Maharaja's College, Mysore, in a semifinal league match of the Chief Justice Hombegowda memorial inter-collegiate football tournament here on Sunday.

The results: Semifinal league: St. Philomena's College bt Maharaja's College 3-0; PG Sports Council drew with PES (Science), Mandya 1-1; St. Philoemna's College drew with PG Sports Council 2-2; Maharaja's College drew with PES (Science), Mandya 1-1.
