Arrest of Pakistanis: CID team for Chennai

Kolkata: Officials of West Bengal's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have left for Chennai to investigate possible links between some persons there and the two Pakistanis, who were arrested near the Bangladesh border on August 14.

The two are suspected to be "fidayeens" belonging to the LeTand Jaish-e-Mohammed. During interrogation, it was found that they had received e-mail from someone in Chennai.Earlier, a Mumbai police team came here to find out whether the two had links with those responsible for the July 11 blasts.
