MCC students in Bangladesh

CHENNAI : Students of the Madras Christian College's Department of Social Work are visiting Bangladesh for their international study tour. A team of 22 students accompanied by two faculty left the city on Friday and reached Dhaka on Sunday. They will be interacting with non-governmental organisations. . Besides visiting the University of Dhaka, they also are awaiting permission to meet government officials in Dhaka.

They will be returning to Chennai on August 30. The International Study Tour is intended to help students understand South Asian realities, the role of social workers in other countries, and to apply the learning in their own country.
