The pre-paid autorickshaw counter at the Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station is a boon for the commuters.

Often, autorickshaw drivers do not park their vehicles in the queue for pre-paid autorickshaws. The Traffic Advisory Committee members issue necessary directives to the police to take steps for mobilising auto-rickshaws near the station to pass through the pre-paid counter.

The Railway Minister's statement of a new rule will be introduced soon to ban entry to the railway platform should be reviewed. The Railway Minister should desist from introducing the new rule.
