Belgaum: The Belgaum-based KLES Hospital and Medical Research Centre will organise an essay competition for MBA students on "India, a destination for Health Tourism" as part of the hospital's "dashamanotsava" celebrations. According to a press release here on Monday, the competition is open to students studying in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa. A maximum of three participants will be considered from each college. The participants have been requested to forward their entries through their principals, heads of department to the Public Relation Office, KLES Hospital and MRC, Nehru Naga, Belgaum through post or courier on or before August 31. The essay should not exceed 2,500 words and be neatly typed in A 4 size paper in double space. A panel of judges will evaluate the entries and their decision will be final. Top five essay writers will be invited for presentation at a function to be held at the hospital on September 23. The results will be announced later. All the participants will be given a certificate of participation. Cash prize and memento will be given to the best three essays. The copyright authority will remain with the hospital.
