Gold, cash stolen

HYDERABAD: Thieves took away 90 tolas gold and Rs. 50,000 after breaking into the flat of Sai Nanda Kumar at Hydernagar of Kukatpally on Monday.

Around 10.30 a.m., Mr. Kumar's daughter-in-law Anita, who had gone out, returned home to find front door broken and the property stolen from the almirah.

Police said the high-rise had a watchman but he was on the top floor at the time of the burglary.
