Telephone billing

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will be organising monthly customer meet on August 28 from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. at all offices of area managers. The customers can send their letters pertaining to service, commercial and billing matters of telephones to their respective area managers by August 23.

They can also meet them in person for solving their telephone problems.

Astronomy shows

Astronomy Club of Hyderabad is organising special programmes in the educational institutions of twin cities in the wake of astronomy events like Gujarat Meteor Showers and the result of three new planets' addition in the Solar System that is to be declared on August 25. The club is conducting a multi-media video presentation on LCD projector along with a quiz-game show. Students are invited to send their names for Asteroid Belt- A campaign from NASA-USA. Optional holiday

The State Government has declared an optional holiday on August 23, instead of 22, on account of `Shab-e-meraj', as per sighting of the moon, according to an official release.

Workshop for youth

Art of Living Foundation is organising YES! +, seminar for the youth to impart techniques for stress release, effective problem solving and social skills from August 24.

The seminar is for youth in the age group of 18 years to 30 years and it provides unique relaxation along with breathing exercises and advanced techniques for conflict resolution, according to a release. SETWIN courses
