Stone laid for clock tower

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lt. Gen. Thomas Mathew, General Officer Commanding, 33 Corps, and an alumnus of Sainik School, Kazhakuttam, laid the stone for the `Gurudakshina Clock Tower' at the school main block recently. The project was sponsored by the 1982 batch of the old boys of Sainik School.

The clock tower will house the computer lab, which will accommodate 50 computers. The project, costing around Rs.10 lakh, would be commissioned by June 2007.
