Pondicherry: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy told S.P. Sivakumar (DMK) during zero hour in the Assembly on Tuesday that the Government would come down heavily on those attempting to grab private properties. Mr. Rangasamy said that because of stern steps taken by the Pondicherry Government in the past, the incidents of property grabbing and also trespassing on the vacant sites had come down steeply. Mr. Sivakumar earlier appealed to the Chief Minister to ensure that property owners were protected.
