GULBARGA: The Hyderabad-Karnataka Janapara Sangarsha Samiti has organised a symposium on development of the Gulbarga city by involving the elected representatives, including ministers and top officials on August 27 in Gulbarga. Samiti president Lakshmanrao Dasti told presspersons here on Tuesday that Agriculture Marketing Minister Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, who is the district in-charge minister, Animal Husbandry Minister Revu Naik, all legislators and senior officials, including Deputy Commissioner Pankajkumar Pandey, who is the Administrator of the Gulbarga City Corporation, would be participating in the symposium. Representatives from various localities would present the individual civic problems. To prepare a list of the demands of different localities for basic amenities, the samiti had decided to form ward-level committees of members from different sections of society to prepare the list of demands of basic amenities in their respective localities for the presentation in the symposium. Mr. Dasti said the samiti would present a comprehensive picture of lack of basic amenities in Gulbarga city in the symposium and seek the intervention of elected representatives immediately.
