Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy said here on Tuesday that TRS leaders K. Chandrasekhara Rao and A. Narendra might have resigned from the Union Cabinet to apply `a little more pressure on the Congress'. But the report that they would continue to support the UPA was a welcome statement, he said. Dr. Reddy said as for the Andhra Pradesh Congress, it had left the decision to the AICC president Sonia Gandhi. "We will concentrate on development of the region in all respects," he said. While Telugu Desam felt the Union Ministers had no option but to quit, the BJP saw in their move a "desperate attempt to salvage their credibility". Senior Telugu Desam leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy said the TRS leaders have realised rather belatedly that they have lost all credibility.
