TRS to stall Assembly proceedings

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti has decided to stall the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday demanding that elected representatives of Telangana come out with their stand on the statehood issue.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, TRS Legislature Party leader G. Vijayarama Rao said his party would insist that the MLAs of different parties, the Congress in particular, state whether they were supporting or opposing Telangana State. This would be followed by a meeting of the TRS legislators and senior leaders to finalise the future course of action in the light of the indefinite fast proposed by Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao in New Delhi from Wednesday.
