Mysore races cancelled

MYSORE: Owing to paucity of acceptors, the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club have decided to cancel the Mysore races scheduled for Aug. 24 and 25.

However, the Mysore Million framed for Aug. 25 will now be run on Sept. 1, according to a press release from the Club.

Madras races postponed

The stewards of the Madras Race Club have decided to postpone the Madras races slated for Friday (Aug. 25) to Monday (Aug. 28) due to administrative reasons, according to a press release from the Madras Race Club.
