Letters to the Editor
The Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao and party leader A. Narendra who resigned from the Union Council of Ministers and quit the UPA in protest against the Congress' policy on Telangana should align with the NDA. They should explore all options to achieve statehood for Telangana before launching a peaceful agitation. The NDA created three small States during its regime for better administration.
P. Joycy,
As expected, the Congress-led UPA Government has betrayed the TRS on separate statehood for Telangana. The BJP is the only national party that appreciated the fact that creation of small States improves administration.
M. Chalam,
P. Raju,
After a gap of over two years, the Telangana leaders are raising the demand for a separate State again. Obviously, they are using it for their political ends. Why have they resigned after enjoying power at the Centre for two years? What did Mr. Rao do for the welfare of the people of Telangana for two years? The Congress exploits the leaders of Telangana who, in turn, exploit the sentiments of the people on the issue.
M. Nagaraju,
Since 1969, the people of the Telangana region have been waiting for a State so that development can take place. The people are no longer interested in a separate state but they want badly needed development programmes for their region.
Giriprasad Chelamallu,
