Jasbir Singh stars for Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: Spinner Jasbir Singh followed his splendid show in the first innings with a haul of seven wickets in the second innings to help Visakhapatnam beat Srikakulam by an innings and 68 runs in the ACA North Zone under-17 tournament here on Wednesday.

Jasbir finished the match with a haul of 13 wickets for 23 runs.

In another match, Eat Godavari defeated Vizianagaram by an innings and 95 runs.

The scores: Srikakulam 89 in 43 overs (Jasbir Singh six for nine) and 53 in 40.2 overs (Jasbir Singh seven for 14) lost to Visakhapatnam 210 for three decl. in 45 overs (M.U.B. Sriram 91, Prince Susan 75). Visakhapatnam: 5 points

Vizianagaram 99 in 41 overs (G.V.S. Suresh Kumar four for five, M. Ajay Kumar four for 14) and 92 in 35.3 overs (K. Raja Ramesh three for 12) lost to East Godavari 286 for six decl. in 85 overs (P.
