Rasool scores match-winner
HYDERABAD
: SAI (Eluru) scored a soltiary goal win against Chennai STC in the South Zone inter-STC hockey tournament for boys (under-19) at Begumpet Police Stadium here on Wednesday. Rasool Khan scored the winner.
In another match, Bangalore STC defeated Secunderabad STC 3-1 after leading 2-1 at the break. Chand Varma, M.B. Aiyappa and Nitin Thimmaiah were the scorers for the winners while Vijay Kumar reduced the margin for the losers.
Pondicherry STC and Chennai STC were locked in a goalless draw.
The semifinal line-up for Thursday is Bangalore vs Eluru and Secunderabad vs Chennai.
