K. Ayyappa Panikkar
Thiruvananthapuram: Poet K. Ayyappa Panicker passed away here on Wednesday. He was 76. Dr. Panicker was admitted to hospital two weeks back following acute lung infection. He died of cardiac arrest at 3.50 p.m. Dr. Panicker is survived by his wife and two children. The cremation will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Kavalam in Alappuzha.
