U.S. has set an example: Swamy

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday said the United States had set an example for the Centre, which claimed to follow a "zero-tolerance" policy towards terrorism.

In a statement here, he said that by cracking down on the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, the Bush administration had proved that it would brook no terrorist organisation on American soil. The U.S. had chosen not to tolerate the misuse of its land for nefarious activities, he added.
