Central team's tour from today

BANGALORE: A seven-member Central team will tour seven districts on Thursday and Friday to assess the damage caused by rain and floods. The team, headed by V.N. Gaur, Joint Secretary (Home) will be divided into three groups. The team comprises Vatsala Kutty, R.P. Yadav, Anupam Barik, R.K. Pandey, Dinesh Chand and Haldhar.

The teams will cover Belgaum, Bagalkot, Raichur, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Shimoga and Uttara Kannada districts.

Mr. Gaur and Dr. Barik would visit Raichur, Gulbarga and Bijapur districts. Ms. Kutty, Mr. Haldhar and Mr. Yadav would visit Belgaum and Bagalkot districts while Mr. Pandey and Mr. Chand would tour Shimoga and Uttara Kannada districts.
