Ganeshotsava programmes

MANGALORE: Sri Ganeshotsava Samiti and Mangalore Taluk Bantara Sangha will jointly organise a series of programmes from August 27 to 29, as part of Ganeshotsava.

`Tene habba' would be observed to help youngsters appreciate the manner in which the festival was connected to nature, said Asha Jyothi, coordinator of the cultural division of the samiti.

Various other religious and cultural programmes would be conducted and distinguished individuals from diverse fields would be felicitated, she said.

As part of the celebrations, a mahayagna for world prosperity would be held on August 29, she added.
