VHP against temple demolition

HYDERABAD: The city unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday demanded that the Government stop the demolition of Raktha Maisamma temple near Anand theatre on Sardar Patel Road in Secunderabad for road widening.

In a memorandum submitted to Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad, VHP city leaders threatened to launch an agitation if the authorities failed to withdraw the demolition proposal immediately.
