Strike called off

HYDERABAD: The Nizam Club Staff and Members Union called off its four-day strike following an amicable settlement with the management over its charter of demands on Tuesday. The settlement includes increase in wages by 4 per cent of basic pay, reimbursement of medical bills till ESI coverage was applicable to the club employees, payment of conveyance allowance, life insurance cover for Rs. 30,000, regularisation of services of temporary employees with 240 days of continuous service, etc.
