Hari upset over missing Arjuna award

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Grandmaster Pentyala Harikrishna, fresh from his title win in the World Rapid Junior Chess Championship, feels what more he has to achieve to get the Arjuna award.

Speaking to The Hindu on missing the Arjuna award, the former World Junior Champion says that he is terribly disappointed for not getting it.

Asked whether he missed out for want of lobbying, Harikrishna said it was for those who finalise the list to explain.

"I will not get into any controversy. There is no question of even lodging a written protest," he added.
