Doctors' dharna

KOCHI: The Kerala Government Medical Officers' Association will hold a dharna in front of the District Medical Office on Thursday. The dharna is part of the non-cooperation strike being conducted by the doctors from April 17 demanding solution to the disparities in the pay revision and for saving the Health Department. - Staff Reporter

Review meeting

KOCHI: Water Resources Minister N.K. Premachandran will hold a review meeting of various irrigation projects in the district, including the Muvattupuzha Valley Irrigation Project, Periyar Valley Irrigation Project and other projects included in the Periyar Valley Command Area Development Authority on Thursday. The meeting will be held at the District Panchayat Office Hall, Kakkanad, at 2 p.m. A review meeting on the progress of the Hudco-Assisted Water Supply Augmentation Scheme of the Kerala Water Authority will be held at Ernakulam Guest House at 10 a.m. - Staff Reporter
