Bangalore University has invited applications for three posts of guest faculty in the Postgraduate Department of Geography and Geoinformatics. Candidates should posses a Master's degree in Geography with at least 55 per cent marks and should have GIS specialisation; must have passed the UGC/NET test; teaching experience preferred and good command over English and knowledge of Kannada. AWAKE is organising a two-week training programme from September 4 on Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for candidates (men and women) interested in starting small business from their homes. The training programme will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and consists of empowerment session, SWOT analysis, business plan preparation, marketing techniques and selling skills.
