Good response to exhibition

KOZHIKODE: A travelling exhibition organised by the American Information Resource Centre (AIRC) of the U.S. Consulate General for South India, Chennai, at the Malabar Christian College (MCC) here has been drawing a good crowd.

The exhibition features a power point presentation on the resources and services of the AIRC. Multi-media display, book exhibition, video corner and poster shows are also part of the exhibition.

Another attraction was on-the-spot membership for individuals and institutions at the venue. "The exhibition is purely academic. This was to inform the Calicut academia including students, teaching faculty, research scholars who are not aware of the services being offered by AIRC," said Meena Y. Reddy, Chief of Special Services at AIRC.

"We had visitors even from Aluva. On Thursday itself at least 500 to 600 students visited the exhibition," she said.
