Natco Pharma launches Bortenat

HYDERABAD: Natco Pharma Limited, a Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company, has announced the launch of its brand of Bortenat (Bortezomib) 3.5 mg injection used in the treatment of multiple myeloma. Bortenat will be priced at Rs. 16,800 as against Rs. 75,000 of the imported medicine and since it was a pre-1995 invention, Natco was not expecting any patent litigation around the molecule.
