KOLLAM: Four persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Kollam district on Thursday. In the first accident at 12.45 p.m. on the National Highway at Vavakavu, near Karunagapally, two persons on a motorbike were killed on the spot when a van hit it. In the second accident at 4 p.m. at Kunnicode junction, two persons in an autorickshaw were killed when a jeep rammed into it. The deceased in the second incident were identified as Rajeevan, 25, a native of Chavara South, and Prasannan, 35, of Kayamkulam.
