England clinches series

London : Indian women were once again let down by their batting as England took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing five-match ODI series with a three-wicket win in the fourth game at the Rose Bowl.

After being put in to bat, India was held to 192 for eight in 50 overs. The host achieved the target with 4.2 overs and three wickets to spare.

The scores: India 192 for eight (Anjum Chopra 53, Mithali Raj 47, Hemlata Kala 40) lost to England 195 for seven (Sarah Taylor 61, Jenny Gunn 46, Jhulan Goswami three for 20). — UNI
