Kannur takes lead

THALASSERY : Host Kannur took the first innings lead on the opening day of its two-day match against Kasargod in the North Zone (under-19) inter-District cricket championship here on Friday.

Kannur finished the day at 108 for four, after bowling out Kasaragod for 106.

The scores: Kasaragod 106 in 44.3 overs (K. Arun 37, Mohammed Naseef six for 46) v Kannur 108 for four in 30 overs (Anirudh 36 batting). — Principal Correspondent
