HYDERABAD:
Steps will be taken up on a mission mode to create at least 10 lakh jobs in the State in the next three years.
Giving an assurance to this effect in a written answer tabled in the Assembly on Friday in response to a query raised by S. Udayabhanu (Congress), Labour Minister G. Vinod said Employment Generation Missions have already been set up at State and district levels to achieve the ambitious goal, the former headed by Chief Secretary and the latter by Collector.
Infosys campus
Information Technology Minister P. Sabitha Reddy told D. Sridhar Babu (Congress) that the first phase construction of the Infosys campus at Mamidipalli village near Hyderabad in Ranga Reddy district would begin from next January. To another query , she said a software technology park with a state-of-art "incubation centre" was being set up at Kakinada.
Probe ordered
D. Prasada Rao informed N. Narsimha Reddy (TRS) that an inquiry had been ordered into alleged cancellation of pattas given to freedom-fighters at Aminpur near Patancheru.
