Rajahmundry: The Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has taken up clean and green environment campaign in the district in a big way. Narendra Kumar, Deputy General Manager and Officer-in-Charge of GAIL, while participating in a programme organised at Kakinada PR Government College, said the company decided to take up plantation in all major towns of the district and initially it started with two municipal corporations --Rajahmundry and Kakinada. The Deputy General Manager said that the GAIL would continue the clean and green programme with the community support.
