JAIPUR: A Jet Airways flight, with Rajasthan Governor Pratibha Patil among its passengers, made an emergency landing soon after take-off from Sanganer airport here for Mumbai on Friday morning after a bird-hit. The director of Sanganer airport, Arun Talwar, told The Hindu that the plane landed around 9-15 a.m. with all the passengers safe. "A bird-hit caused the emergency landing. All the passengers were safe," he said. Ms. Patil, on her way to Goa to participate in the general body meeting of the West Zone Cultural Centre, had to wait for one hour at the airport for the next flight. Ms. Patil is the chairperson of WZCC, which has its headquarters in Udaipur. Later Ms. Patil and a few others were accommodated in the GoAir flight to Mumbai, which took off from Sanganer at 11 a.m.
